You can look up the e-prescriptions issued by your doctor after logging in to the EESZT Citizen Portal, in the e-prescriptions (eReceptek) menu, by setting the appropriate filters. Logging in requires your Ügyfélkapu (government client gateway) username and password, and your 9-digit TAJ (social security) number.

After logging in, in the e-prescriptions menu, by choosing the appropriate query period, you can view your prescriptions waiting to be redeemed as well as those already redeemed.

Please always check that the e-prescription for the product you wish to redeem has actually been uploaded to the cloud, because without it we unfortunately cannot serve you.

The law prohibits pharmacies from doing so. As much as we regret it, we cannot go beyond the legal framework.

Medicines are mostly classified as prescription-only if taking them is justified by a medical diagnosis, or if, even when used as intended, they may endanger the patient's health when used without medical supervision.

A medicine can be obtained without a prescription only if it is suitable for treating a condition whose symptoms the patient can clearly identify, that is, the patient can judge on their own, from the symptoms, which medicine can treat them.

The distribution of medicines is currently decided by NNGYK, the National Public Health and Pharmaceutical Centre.
